This past weekend I was in Berlin and I went to Berlin Meltdown (esports bar) to watch a Hearthstone tournament, my wife actually came too! It was awesome! Cannot wait for more events like that!

lol, your wife actually accompanied you to watch e-sports? mate, there is no bigger proof of love than that ;-)

(no genderism implied. I'm not critical of e-sports, but it really never has been my thing. So I am not sure if I could stand watching a hearthstone tournament myself ...)

i'll have to see if i can be @ gamescon or not. to far away in the future to make such a call

Hey guys, So how was Gamescon? Obviously a success from a development view, but your experience personally?

Im off to Citizencon in October, not sure what to expect but i going to take my wife with me. (May need help getting about - shes doing it out of love rather than interest.) Any of you going, would be great to say hi.

well, my gamescon experience was: after weeks of anticipation i had to cancel just days before the events due to unexpected problems. when the day came, i watched bernd and jan coordinate via our whatsapp group as they headed towards the event and had fum why i was stuck in bielefeld and my despaired sobs went unheard ...
i am off crying now. again ...
